L'onorificenza di Berlusconi resta nei fatti: oggi dà lavoro a 60mila persone.

Oggi dà lavoro a 60mila persone, una realtà di peso nell'economia italiana: tre aziende quotate e un fatturato di più di 5 miliardi

Un fatturato di oltre cinque miliardi di euro, tre società quotate - Mediaset, Mediolanum e Mondadori - che valgono complessivamente dieci miliardi: questo è l'impero creato dal Cavaliere, che dà lavoro a circa ventimila persone, 60mila se si conta l'indotto.

Una realtà di peso nell'economia italiana: dal 1996 ad oggi il gruppo Fininvest ha realizzato investimenti per 25 miliardi di euro, e al tempo stesso ha versato nelle casse dello Stato, tra contributi e imposte, più di otto miliardi.

La sua storia è cominciata 35 anni fa e si è intrecciata da subito con quella del Paese e delle sue trasformazioni, precedendole a volte, accompagnandole sempre.

Tutto parte nel 1978, data di nascita di Fininvest, la holding del gruppo controllato da Silvio Berlusconi, che già ha al suo attivo importanti realizzazioni immobiliari: il quartiere residenziale Edilnord di Brugherio, Milano 2 e Milano 3.

L'avventura televisiva comincia proprio da qui, con l'intuizione di dar vita a una tv via cavo per Milano 2, che due anni dopo si trasforma in Canale 5 e inizia le trasmissioni su tutto il territorio nazionale.

Nell'etere è tempo di grandi cambiamenti: il monopolio Rai sta per andare definitivamente in soffitta.

La pubblicità è la linfa vitale del nuovo corso televisivo: così, nel 1979 nasce Publitalia '80, la concessionaria del polo televisivo che sarà Mediaset.

A Canale 5 si affiancano infatti Italia 1 (acquisita dall'editore Rusconi nel 1982) e Retequattro, ceduta nel 1984 da Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, che 7 anni dopo entrerà a far parte della galassia Fininvest.

Comunicazione ed editoria sono sempre più il core business del gruppo, che nel 1990 partecipa alla nascita di Telecinco, oggi leader delle tv commerciali spagnole, ed esce definitivamente dall'immobiliare nel 2001.

Mentre si consolida la posizione nel mercato televisivo, cresce anche la diversificazione nei servizi finanziari: insieme a Ennio Doris, la Fininvest getta le basi del gruppo Mediolanum, una ventata di innovazione nell'ingessato panorama bancario italiano, in risposta alle nuove esigenze di gestione del risparmio familiare.

Nel 1996, Mediolanum e Mediaset sbarcano in Piazza Affari, raccogliendo la fiducia di oltre 300mila investitori.

Il nuovo millennio apre le prospettive, praticamente illimitate, della Rete: e il gruppo Fininvest è pronto a coglierne le opportunità.

Lo schermo fa concorrenza alla pagina scritta?

Mondadori mette online la più ampia libreria di e-book italiani.

Così come Premium, la pay tv del gruppo, Premium Play e Infinity, hanno cambiato il modo di vedere la tv.

Una realtà a 360 gradi, quella del gruppo Fininvest, che rispecchia l'Italia e le sue passioni: non solo quelle più popolari, come il calcio (leggi Milan), ma anche quella per la cultura. Che ringrazia i best seller di Mondadori, gli spettacoli dello storico teatro Manzoni e l'Oscar a La Grande Bellezza, prodotto da Medusa: e di conseguenza, ringrazia il Cavaliere.

Don Paolo Farinella ormai senza freni, dopo la sentenza della Cassazione che ha confermato l'interdizione di Silvio Berlusconi, intervistato a “La Zanzara” dice “Berlusconi? Io farei una legge ad personam, l'eutanasia attiva. Quello deve togliersi di mezzo. Si tolga dalle palle e non se ne parli più. Dopo vent'anni di sfacelo totale non ne possiamo più. Il suo è vittimismo da strapazzo. Se morisse domani? L'Italia avrebbe un periodo di pace. Non dovremmo occuparci di queste belinate. È una presenza malefica”.

Il prete, editorialista di Micromega, appartiene alla diocesi di Genova, per questo ci rivolgiamo al suo Vescovo Bagnasco perché lo richiami fortemente al suo impegno sacerdotale. Ma non si ferma: “Se Berlusconi morisse direi: grazie Signore che te lo sei portato via. Cito la preghiera che si faceva un tempo: peste fame et bello et Berlusconi libera nos Domine! Liberaci da Berlusconi, insomma. Che se ne stia a casa a trastullarsi con Dudù”.

Questa volta ce l’ha anche con Don Mazzi e gli manda a dire: “Dimostra di essere totalmente rincoglionito”.
